SEX ABUSE: West Des Moines Man Arrested | News
A West Des Moines man is being held in the Polk County jail on sexual abuse charges involving a minor.
Forty-six-year-old Mark McMahon was arrested Wednesday on outstanding warrants for dissemination/exhibition of obscene material to a minor, sexual exploitation of a minor, and third degree sexual abuse.
West Des Moines police say the charges stem from an investigation in September where McMahon allegedly possessed child pornography on a computer. He is also alleged to have shown pornography to a minor and performed a sexual act on a minor.
He’s being held on a bond of more than $14,000.
