HEAD-ON CRASH: West Des Moines Accident | News
West Des Moines police are investigating the cause of a crash on E.P. True Parkway Tuesday morning.
Lt. James Barrett says the accident happened about 8:45 a.m. in the 2800 block of E.P. True. The two vehicles involved hit head-on. Police say the drivers were the only occupants of the vehicles at the time of the crash.
One of the drivers had to be extricated from the vehicle by the West Des Moines Fire Department. Both drivers were taken to local hospitals. Their names and conditions have not been released.
Police say the cause of the accident is unknown at this time because there were no witnesses and they were unable to speak with the drivers before they were taken to the hospital.
