REMEMBERING ASHLEY: Event Honors Murder Victim | News
Friends and family will gather Saturday night to honor a loved one taken too soon.
A memorial golf outing and tree dedication is being held at the Legacy Golf Course in Norwalk to honor Ashley Okland, who was murdered in West Des Moines two years ago.
The tree dedication begins at 5:30 p.m. Saturday and golfers will tee off at 6:00 p.m.
Ashley worked at the Legacy Golf Course and several landscaping projects are already dedicated to her.
Police haven’t arrested anyone in the murder case. A reward of up to $150,000 is being offered to anyone with information leading to an arrest and conviction in Ashley’s death.
