HOUSE FIRE: West Des Moines Home Burns | News
Firefighters are on the scene of a house fire at 813 7th Street in West Des Moines.
It started around 4:00 p.m. in the basement but firefighters aren’t yet sure of the cause.
When rescue crews arrived, two people were outside the home suffering from smoke inhalation. At least one of them was in the basement when the fire started.
Both people were taken from the scene by ambulance.
Firefighters have extinguished the fire.
