NATIONAL ACCOLADE: City Gets Budget Award | Business
The City of West Des Moines has been nationally recognized for its budgeting – for the 14th time in succession.
The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) announced the decision to award the city the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for last year’s budget.
To be eligible, the local government had to be proficient with its policy document, its financial plan, operations guide and communications device.
In total, over 1,328 entities received the award.
